Fernando Martinez is now wearing #8 at Buffalo — perhaps 2+6, or maybe he will be assigned that number upon his return.

Not sure how much stock to pit into minor league number assignments, especially for guys who haven’t surfaced at the big league level yet. As I said before I like 17 for Ike!
