He talks about the end of his career and the doomed attempt to buy the club in 1979; he absolutely unloads on former GM Joe McDonald while speaking well of chairman Donald Grant; andprovides his take on former colleagues and teammates from Seaver to Swan.

I had some trouble figuring it out too but I believe it’s an elaborate method of fleshing out a fictional character of the creator. Anyway, can’t get enough interviews with Ed Kranepool, and other minor celebs of the baseball world.
