I dunno). Reading up on the transactions and comments, I see the Mets designated\u00a0Claudio Vargas<\/a>\u00a0for asignment and recalled reliver\u00a0Carlos Muniz<\/a>.<\/p>\n They also acquired infielder\u00a0Andy Phillips<\/a>\u00a0via waivers and added him to the active roster while sending down pointless third catcher\u00a0Robinson Cancel<\/a>. Phillips was issued\u00a0No. 29<\/a>\u00a0— the third time that number was issued this season.<\/p>\n Oh, and\u00a0Willie Randolph<\/a>\u00a0was fired again — this time by the NL All-Stars.
