Apparently he&#8217;s applying the same rules of fashion to his Met jerseys.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span>Lima on Saturday suited up\u00a0<strong>No. 17,<\/strong>\u00a0his third different Met jersey this spring. Lima, you will recall, was issued\u00a0<strong>No. 99<\/strong>\u00a0and then spent an afternoon in\u00a0<strong>42<\/strong>\u00a0before the Mets thought better of reissuing the mothballed\u00a0<strong>Jackie Robinson<\/strong>\u00a0uni and gave him 99 back. In the meantime the Mets sold\u00a0<strong>Dae Sung Koo\u00a0<\/strong>back to Korea, freeing up 17, in which Lima appeared most recently. For a guy the Mets are likely to bid &#8220;auf wiedersehen\u201d to in a matter of weeks, he&#8217;s kept things interesting on the runway. (Thanks to MBTN reader Jason for the tip).<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span>Jason also reports that coach\u00a0<strong>Jerry Manuel\u00a0<\/strong>appeared in\u00a0<strong>No. 35,<\/strong>\u00a0solving the mysery of what number he fled to after\u00a0<strong>Chad Bradford<\/strong>\u00a0claimed his\u00a0<strong>53<\/strong>\u00a0(below). What number remains for World Baseball Classic-exiled reliever<strong>\u00a0Jose Santiago\u00a0<\/strong>is still unknown (as is the question of whether he&#8217;s actually coming back after the tournament is complete).
