The Proven Veteran Starter, listed as\u00a0<strong>No. 19,<\/strong>\u00a0didn&#8217;t make it out of warmups Thursday before hitting the disabled list &#8212;\u00a0<strong>David Cone<\/strong>\u00a0last season at least waited until May. Back in his place is\u00a0<strong>Jae Seo 38,<\/strong>\u00a0whose evil cackle we could hear all the way from Norfolk. So for the time being, we&#8217;ve reduced our All-Time Met list to 726 players and are left waiting.\u00a0<\/span><strong><span style=\"color: #3333ff;\">Update:<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00a0Seo appeared in Saturday&#8217;s game wearing\u00a0<strong>No. 26<\/strong>. That makes three numbers for Seo in as many seasons as a Met. He made his MLB debut in 2002 in\u00a0<strong>38<\/strong>; switched to\u00a0<strong>40<\/strong>\u00a0last year and back to 38 this spring after\u00a0<strong>Braden Looper<\/strong>\u00a0took 40.
